With a dramatic low back and fluid drape, the Sandrelli Halter Dress is to be worn with the bow at the waist, nape of the neck or at the lower back. With it's unique collar band closure, it cuts an impossibly elegant figure.

Striking yet timeless silhouettes, the Sandrelli story consists of two satin gowns in classic hues with distinctive detailing and a rich, lustrous finish.

Made in the UK from Italian crepe back satin: considered a vegan alternative to silk, acetate viscose is a natural cellulose fibre, sourced from wood pulp.

How to fasten:

– Undo twist collar band opening, keeping twist section untouched.
– Dress over the head.
– Ensure collar band is twisted over front bodice.
– Wrap collar band over your neck and through the back panel top loop.
– Adjust as necessary so closure is concealed inside referred loop.
– Side seam ties can be tied in a bow at the front or at the back.

– Note, this style has no zip closure or buttons.

Process

Temperley prints are painstakingly hand-painted in-house. Motifs are collaged onto the body then lovingly engineered into compositions that work in harmony with the garment’s panelling, ensuring the printed fabric flows flawlessly across seam joints when the garment is constructed. The process is both meticulous and spontaneous, with an outcome that is truly unique and artisanal.

Materials

Committed to creating unique and original textiles, the Temperley team designs lace and woven fabrics in-house at our atelier, which are then crafted by our trusted partners at expert mills across the globe. We utilise best quality Italian tulle, soft and sheer, perfectly structured with a flawless drape. Another staple material includes luxurious silk, woven to create a lustrous effect, with a smooth and radiant finish, perfect for eveningwear.
