For Fall Winter 2025, Temperley London embarks on a journey through the world of the Napoleonic era.
Inspired by the lavish uniforms, symbolic regalia, and storied craftsmanship of the early 1800s.
Rich military greens, deep reds, and imperial blues form the foundation of a regal palette, punctuated by elaborate embroidery, hand-painted medal motifs, tassels, and intricate jacquard weaves that tell tales of victory, resilience, and legacy.
The Anniversary Story is at the heart of the collection, a tribute to 25 years of Temperley London, encapsulated in a bespoke Toile du Jouy print. This signature artwork weaves together the personal and the historical, featuring symbols of the brand’s journey, from Alice Temperley’s Somerset roots to her unwavering dedication to craftsmanship.
Drawing from historical textiles, the Francis Story and its variations have been reimagined from archival jacquard, appearing across structured tailoring, textured knitwear, and washed denim.
Temperley London’s signature approach to print and embellishment finds its strongest expression in the VictoryStory. Subtle yet striking, the T-logo is reworked in rich jacquard textures, offering a new perspective on branding—elevated, understated, and deeply woven into the fabric of the collection. Meanwhile, the Valour Story infuses sharp tailoring with colour-blocking inspired by military uniforms, where strength and elegance converge in precision-cut silhouettes.
The Gloriette Story honours the aristocratic times of the 19th century with a modern twist—hand-drawn medal prints, digitally translated onto silk satin, celebrating both honour and artistry. Echoing the embellishment traditions of the era, these intricate designs lend a stately refinement to flowing silhouettes and effortlessly draped eveningwear.
As day fades into night, the AW25 collection turns toward a darker, more seductive energy. The Reina Story breathes a gothic romance, with rich velvets and intricate detailing conjuring the regal richness of historic court dress. The Lynx Story embraces untamed glamour, with sharp tailoring cut from Leopard Velvet Jacquard—textured and unapologetically bold. Meanwhile, the Gallantry Story reinterprets 19th-century embroidery traditions with a contemporary turn, using intricate embellishment techniques to create a high-impact effect. The Genevieve Story, defined by its sculptural draping and fluid silhouettes, captures the beauty of the era’s most romantic muses. Each piece is a testament to the craftsmanship and storytelling that define Temperley London's signature approach to eveningwear.
“La Victoire has been a labour of love, and my whole team has worked so hard to make this happen. We are presenting complete White and Black collections as we embark on a new era. It’s been a journey these last 25 years, and I can happily say about this collection that I want it all,” says Alice Temperley MBE.
Temperley London’s AW25 collection reflects history’s enduring influence on fashion—a tribute to the art of dressing with purpose, elegance, and a touch of rebellion.
