For Summer 2026, the collection honours the bohemian philosophy of Art for Art’s Sake, where colour, craft, and artistry are celebrated as ends in themselves. The striking new look book was Shot in Alice’s new Somerset photo studio against a striking back drop painted by the team. Elegant, playful and painterly celebrating the craft of textiles, colour and effortless summer dressing.
This season unfolds with exotic botanicals: the fern mania that captivated Victorian Britain, transforming glasshouses into delicate realms of discovery, and the Palm Tree fervour of
1930s Hollywood, which reimagined the Californian desert as a cinematic oasis of glamour and aspiration.
The collection fuses these echoes of the past into a contemporary vision. Cyanotypes, gothic embroideries and delicate filigree are juxtaposed with surreal palm prints, bold jacquards and jazz age influences. Vibrant chartreuse, fuchsia and provence blue are paired with softer bellini and jade green, buttery yellow, ivory and lavender.
The Ivy Story inspired by Victorian techniques, are arranged to create illusions of animal print. Combined with hand-painted alstroemeria florals, the designs contour the body
across glossy and stretch silk satins.
The Baxter Story captures the exuberance of the Palm Tree craze in 1930s California. Hand-painted in gouache with dramatic shadows and deliberately unfinished sections, the prints recall the allure of vintage travel posters while celebrating the artistry of the handmade process.
Our DNA Artisanal stitchwork in the Madeline Story mixes hand-guided embroidery and appliqué fringing to create fluid botanicals that cascade across the garment, blurring the line
between trim, motif and fabric. The relaxed silhouettes allow for effortless movement while retaining a striking elegance.
The Viola Story, where metallic bugle-beaded chevrons shimmer across lurex filcoupe georgette evokes the jazz age while fringes and cropped crepe suits bring a very
wearable summer playfulness.
From cyanotypes to surreal palms, intricate stitchwork to dazzling beadwork, Summer 2026 is a celebration of artistry without restraint. Rooted in the craftsmanship of the
Somerset atelier, each piece embodies the joy of creation, offering clothes that are both heirloom-worthy and a gateway to escapism.
