Celebrating Somerset’s lacemaking heritage, the three styles in the Guinevere story are inspired by Honiton lace. Made from lace applique, stylised Jacobean floral elements give the traditional bobbin motifs a bold, modern feel, exuding the collection’s mid-century dolce vita mood. The fresco-inspired influences woven throughout the collection are seen in the contrasting border of cotton voile.
Sourced for its quality, both feel and durability, the cotton voile has origin-assured certification.

Process
Temperley prints are painstakingly hand-painted in-house. Motifs are collaged onto the body then lovingly engineered into compositions that work in harmony with the garment’s panelling, ensuring the printed fabric flows flawlessly across seam joints when the garment is constructed. The process is both meticulous and spontaneous, with an outcome that is truly unique and artisanal.

Committed to creating unique and original textiles, the Temperley team designs lace and woven fabrics in-house at our atelier, which are then crafted by our trusted partners at expert mills across the globe. We utilise best quality Italian tulle, soft and sheer, perfectly structured with a flawless drape. Another staple material includes luxurious silk, woven to create a lustrous effect, with a smooth and radiant finish, perfect for eveningwear.
